A crash on a major road into town added to delays on the road network on Saturday afternoon.The accident on Exeter Street, where the route meets Sutton Road, has added to problems getting into town.Vehicles have been caught up in heavy traffic along Gdynia Way and Exeter Street for most of the day.The arrival of students, the closure of the road leading into Bretonside and usual Saturday town traffic levels have all created further delays. Traffic has been building on A374 Gdynia Way Southbound at A379 Laira Bridge Road, and congestion is being felt on A374 Shapters Road to B3238 Tothill Road / Cattedown Road. Earlier in the day, the exit slip road clear on A38 The Parkway Westbound at B3413 Forder Valley Road / Delamere Road / Longbridge Road (Forder Valley Interchange) was busy, but appears to have gone quieter.Follow our live traffic blog for updates.
